Director, Comprehensive Care Management
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe

“In my opinion, the Strive for Five program as a whole has helped Lake Pointe tremendously with overall staff moral and interactions, not to mention our Patient Satisfaction scores have improved as well. Walking down the hall, everyone speaks to each other whether an internal or external guest. My first exposure to a Strive for Five campus was visiting the Heart Hospital campus in Plano and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. There was a different “feel” than when I had visited other campuses that had not implemented the Strive for Five program, including Lake Pointe. I was fortunate enough to be selected as a facilitator for Strive for Five at Lake Pointe. Throughout the process of learning the material and how to facilitate learning of the material something changed in me too. From a personal development standpoint, I learned many lessons about myself and acquired skills that I did not have prior to my exposure to Strive for Five.” In fact, by nature I am an introvert, but since Strive for Five I find myself “Activating my Hospitality Zone” even when I’m not at work.”
